Error description
An exception out of DFHPICC when processing the response from WCC. DFHPICC gets to check_not_mixed_content and throws the error because data has found when not expected. The 'ProcessingStatus' type extends the 'TypeCode' type, and that in turn has simple content. But, the 'ProcessingStatus' type also adds a particle (a sequence) to the end of the simple value. The sequence happens to be empty, and that allows the schema to validate properly, but if that sequence had any content at all then it would fail to validate as you'd be mixing complex and simple content models.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: DFHPI1007 SOAP message processing * * failed because of incorrect input * * (XML_FORMAT_ERROR). * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** A WSDL contains an xsd:complexType which contains an empty xsd:sequence. The parent data type was xsd:simpleType. Usually it is not valid for a type with complex content to derive from a type with simple content, but this specific scenario is valid because the complex content is an empty sequence. When this WSDL is processed by DFHWS2LS it generates an invalid language structure which gives the following error at runtime: DFHPI1007 SOAP message processing failed because of incorrect input ( XML_FORMAT_ERROR ). Additional Keywords: Websphere Customer Center MSGDFHPI1007 xml_error_mixed_content
Problem conclusion
DFHWS2LS has been altered to process the parent type's simple content and generate the appropriate language structures. This problem will be resolved by PK69738 at CICS/YS Version 3 Release 2.
