Error description

  • SIT USRDELAY parameter fails to detect an invalid userid before
a Web services transaction route request directs the transaction
to an AOR. As a result, the AOR will issue message DFHAC2047,
causing the TOR to issue message DFHIR3783.
There are 2 issues that need addressing here.
    1) RZ domain needs to be called during task termination.
Currently RZXM is not called for RELEASE_XM_CLIENT
       processing.
    2) RZXM needs to issue a DELETE_USER call at task termination
       time.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A user ID associated with a CICS Web *
    * Service that has been changed is never *
    * removed from the User domain. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
The user ID specified in the DFHWS-USERID container is added to
the system when the pipeline attaches a new transaction to
implement the requested context switch, but the user ID is not
deleted when the transaction is detached.
    .
The Instore Transport Requeststream handler does not contain
any function to handle transaction detach. Therefore the use
count for the user ID is not decremented, and the user ID
never becomes eligible to be purged by USRDELAY processing.

Problem conclusion

  • The Instore Transport Requeststream handler (DFHRZIS) has been
altered to handle transaction detach. This detects whether a new
user ID has been added during transaction attach, and deletes it
    if present.

The CICS Transaction Server for z/OS Version 3 Release 1, CICS
Trace Points, SC34-6443-04, page 461 and The CICS Transaction
Server for z/OS Version 3 Release 2, CICS Trace Points,
SC34-6828-01, page 646 needs to be altered under section
"Request streams domain trace points". The following trace point
needs to be added to the table.

Point ID Module Lvl Type Data
