Error description

  • You start up CICSTS32 for the first time and start transaction
CKQC and recieve the abend APTC. When you look in the JES2 log
you see some of the following entries:
DFHMQ0351I Unable to LOAD API exit CSQCAPX. Program is disabled.
DFHAC2236 Transaction CKQC abend APCT in program DFHMQ1E term
B004. Updates to local recoverable resources will be backed out.
The problem does not show up until you installed the
Refresh-Service for CICS TS 3.2. With the Refresh Service there
comes the UK28063 and UK31091 PTF which changes the DFH$UMOD.
You add the MQ modules to the LPA using DFH$UMOD. DFH$ULPA does
not contain definitions for some of these moved MQ modules so
when the CKQC transaction is issued, they get the APCT abend.
You also notice that the following modules are not in DFH$UPLA
    but in DFH$UMOD.
    DFHMQDCO, DFHMQHC, DFHMQHE, DFHMQ1C, DFHMQ1E, DFHMQ1K, DFHMQ1U,
    DFHMQ2C, DFHMQ2E,DFHMQ2K, DFHMQHK, and DFHMQHU.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Transaction CKQC fails with abendAPCT *
    * because module DFHMQ1E cannot be found. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
The CICS-supplied USERMOD, DFH$UMOD, has been used to move
several DFHMQ* modules from SDFHLOAD to the link pack area
(LPA) and then DFH$ULPA has then been used to change the
definition of these modules to use USELPACOPY(YES). However,
not all of the moved DFHMQ* modules have definitions in
DFH$ULPA (for example, DFHMQ1E). When transaction CKQC is
run, CICS does not look for DFHMQ1E in the LPA and issues
abend APCT when it cannot be found in SDFHLOAD. Unfortunately,
the LPA-eligibility definitions of some of the DFHMQ* modules
in DFH$UMOD are wrong (including DFHMQ1E) and these modules
should not be moved to the LPA. The following need to be
    removed from DFH$UMOD:
DFHMQHC DFHMQHE DFHMQHK DFHMQHU DFHMQ1C DFHMQ1E
    DFHMQ1K DFHMQ1U DFHMQ2C DFHMQ2E DFHMQ2K DFHMQ2U

DFHMQDCO is LPA-eligible and may be moved to the LPA. A
definition for DFHMQDCO with USELPACOPY(YES) needs to be added
    to DFH$ULPA.

Note that MSGDFHMQ0351I is reporting that the API-crossing exit
(CSQCAPX) that is supplied with WebSphere MQ for z/OS isn't
enabled. This is not related to the abend APCT.

Problem conclusion

  • ++ MOVE statements for the following modules have been removed
    from DFH$UMOD and DFJ$UMOD:
DFHMQHC DFHMQHE DFHMQHK DFHMQHU DFHMQ1C DFHMQ1E
    DFHMQ1K DFHMQ1U DFHMQ2C DFHMQ2E DFHMQ2K DFHMQ2U

A definition of DFHMQDCO with USELPACOPY(YES) has been added to
    DFH$ULPA.
