    * code. Note that the restarts do not need *
    * to be done at the same time. *
    ****************************************************************
The CICSPlex SM Web User Interface confirmation panel for the
BATCHREP CHECK and EXECUTE actions contain six different
parameters, which typically do not change much between requests.

The WUI should save these values, so that the user can use the
BATCHREP function in an efficient manner.

Problem conclusion

  • Some special case processing has been added to the HTML
generation routines for BATCHREP confirmation panels. These
changes cause values entered on a BATCHREP confirmation panel to
be saved as cookies in the web browser. When a BATCHREP
confirmation panel is displayed, the cookie value will be
restored if a value is not otherwise available.

The cookies are unique per view set accessed by the user from
    a given web browser.

To enable this change, the following have been updated:

    - EYUCOOKIE.JS defines a new set method and allows new arguments
to be passed to it, to control the cookie path and name.
    - EYU0VHDS checks that a cookie value is available so that the
field checkbox can be pre-selected if necessary. It will also
generate HTML to set a cookie value if a parameter field is
changed on a BATCHREP confirmation panel.
    - EYU0VHDA will retrieve a cookie value, to use it as a default
value, if there is no previously specified value, for example
      from the view definition.
    - EYU0VHVV will include the EYUCOOKIE.JS script if the view
to be rendered is a BATCHREP confirmation panel.
