  • MSGDFH7263I DFH7263I DFH7263 appears when the customer codes
    'PROCEDURE DIVISION USING dbcs-charactor' .
    Because ' dfheiblk dfhcommarea' is inserted like:

    This problem is the same sympton as PQ27254 for CTS V1.3.

    When a DBCS parameter name was used in the PROCEDURE
    DIVISION header of a COBOL program, and attempted to be
    translated and compiled, message DFH7263 was incorrectly
    issued and the compilation failed.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHEIM11 has been amended to restore buffer pointers (SA and
    EA) in the case when a search has returned no match.
