Error description
DFHTSPT has not set up stype correctly prior to calling the method to create the TSqueue. This means we call tsqueue_init with a value of 0 in stype. This results in the method not setting tsq_main on, which implies the queue must be aux. Hence we end up creating an auxiliary queue.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: DFHTSPT fails to honour the location * * attribute from a matching TSMODEL for a * * reqid on an EXEC CICS START request. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** DFHTSPT handles the create of temporary storage queues used internally for CICS requests such as EXEC CICS START commands. Unlike DFHEITS, which handles EXEC CICS WRITEQ commands to create queues, DFHTSPT does not set the location attribute of the REQID queue from a TSMODEL selected as the best match to use when creating it. This means that a default of AUXILIARY is used for the queue location, even if the matching TSMODEL specifies MAIN. This can lead to under-exploitation of the ECDSA, growth of data on DFHTEMP, and the potential for unwanted queues to be rebuilt across a warm CICS restart. Problem conclusion
DFHTSPT has been changed to use the location attribute from the TSMODEL for the queues it creates. Note - the XTSPTIN GLUE can also be used to set a queue location, and this takes precedence over a TSMODEL's setting.
