    ****************************************************************
A CICS PIPELINE definition is being installed and DFHPIPL
issues a DFHDHFSM INQUIRE_HFS_FILE call to check if the shelf
directory already has a copy of the configuration file. As the
directory does not exist DFHPIPL then issues a DFHDHFSM
WRITE_HFS_FILE with the create_directory option set.
The WRITE_HFS_FILE procedure issues a BPX1OPN to open the
configuration file which fails with ENOENT (no_entry) because
the shelf directory does not exist. Because create_directory
was specified, DFHDHFSM issues a domain call to itself for
function MAKE_HFS_DIRECTORY to create the shelf directory.
This fails with ENOSPC because the HFS file structure is full,
this failure is returned and DFHDHFSM WRITE_HFS_FILE returns an
error to its caller, DFHPIPL. However, the error returned is the
ENOENT and not the ENOSPC response which results in message
DFHPI0705 misleadingly reporting the error as no_entry rather
    than no_space.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHDHFS has been amended to return the correct uss response and
    reason codes to DFHPIPL.
