Error description

• Viewset is exported with COVC from WUI CPSM v2.2. When they want
  to import it to WUI CPSM v3.2, they get following error in COVC
  screen. "EYUVS0917E Import operation failed."
  EYULOG of v3.2 WUI CPSM contains the following error.
  "EYUVS1055E CWUISX71 Import found invalid string in record
  numbernn of data set'

  *                            string in record number nn of     *
  *                            data set (ddd.ddd.ddd)            *
  *                            member (mmmmmmm).                 *
  *                      .                                       *
  *                      appears in the WUI server EYULOG.  The  *
  *                      import operation is terminated, and no  *
  *                      further objects are processed.          *

  * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this    *
  *                 APAR, all MASes configured as WUI Servers    *
  *                 must be recycled to pick up the new code.    *
  *                 Note that the restarts do not need to be     *
  *                 done at the same time.                       *
  *                                                              *
  *                 Once a WUI server has been restarted, then   *
  *                 you must re-import the customized viewsets   *
  *                 into the WUI server's repository.            *
  *                                                              *
  *                 The customized viewsets can be re-imported   *
  *                 via the AUTOIMPORTTDQ WUI server initial-    *
  *                 ization parameter, the AUTOIMPORTDSN and     *
  *                 AUTOIMPORTMEM WUI initialization parameters, *
  *                 or the IMPORT function of the COVC control   *
  *                 transaction.                                 *

  *                 If COVC is used to re-import the customized  *
  *                 viewsets, ensure that TYPE operand is set to *
  *                 ALL or VIEWSET, and that the Import option   *
  *                 is set to OVERWRITE.                         *

     Viewsets exported from a WUI server executing CICSPlex SM
  V2R2M0 without the fix for APAR PK09971 may contain invalid
  strings which prevent them from being imported into servers
  executing later releases of CPSM.
  

Problem conclusion

•    Module EYU0VVQU (VVQU) was modified to remove trailing null
  characters when processing strings.
  

Temporary fix
