Error description

• Message IGW400I appears on console log when an open request for
  an ESDS RLS file is issued after the application of APAR PK71173
  / PTF UK40656.

  After applying APAR PK71173/PTF UK40656, IGW400I can be
  issued on the console log. If this message is issued while
  attempting to open an RLS extended ESDS file, the open will
  be successful and message DFHFC0509 will not be issued.
  
  A VSAM POINT request is made during the open request code
  path. This request requires that an RPL is created. The RPL
  that has been created for this POINT request is not pointing
  at the correct local unit of work structure. The RLS server
  validates the storage within the unit of work and this results
  in IGW400I being issued. As the feedback response and reason
  code do not equal 080068 the open request completes
  successfully.

Problem conclusion

• UK40656
  
  DFHFCRO has been altered in two ways.
  A local unit of work structure has been created and
  initialised correctly. The RPL then points to this new
  structure.
  Also, an ENDREQ request has been added to the end of the
  procedure to ensure that any VSAM string obtained during
  a successful POINT is released.
