    ****************************************************************
In the customer's case, an EXECKey USER application was running
in subspace mode when it issued an EXEC CICS SET SYSTEM
    MAXTASKS.
This command resulted in the request to obtain more storage
above the bar. Before z/OS V1.10 access to above the bar storage
is not allowed whilst running in subspace mode.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHSMSR has been changed to switch any task issuing a
MXT_CHANGE_NOTIFY call to basespace before accessing above the
    bar storage.
