Error description

  • When TORs try to join a workload, the following messages may be
    issued:
EYUWI0082E applid WLM Workload query process failed for
context (plexname) - directed to CMAS (cmasname)
EYUWM0401E applid Workload Specification (wlmspec) failed to
install for context(plexname) - initiated by join
                 of router (region)
In addition you may also receive message:
EYUWI0086I applid Cannot import workload xxxxxxx. Continue
install for routing region xxxxxxxx? (Y=Yes,N=No,
                 R=Retry)
    .
The CMAS that owned the workloads is starting up and no longer
has the workloads when it starts connecting to other CMASes.

    ****************************************************************
When the first TOR starts up under a CMAS, method EYU0WMWC
(WMWC) is called to perform workload create. WMWC issues a call
to method EYU0CPLE (CPLE) to determine if the workload already
exists in the CMAS network. If it does not, WMWC continues with
the create process. However if it does exist in the network,
then WMWC calls method EYU0WMQM (WMQM). WMQM will call CPLE to
find out which other CMAS has the workload, and then will send
an import request to that CMAS.

If another CMAS that previously had the workload installed in it
is starting up at the same time the create process is running,
and that CMAS no longer has the workload installed, then it is
possible that WMWC's call to CPLE will indicate that another
CMAS has the workload installed while WMQM's call to CPLE will
indicate that no other CMAS has the workload installed. When
that occurs , WMQM will issue message EYUWI0082E and return a
failure to WMWC, which will issue message EYUWI0401E and fail
the create request. As a result, the TOR for which the create
process ran will not join the workload.

Problem conclusion

  • WMQM has been updated so that if its call to CPLE indicates that
no CMAS in the network has the workload, it will return a retry
request to WMWC instead of a failure. WMWC will then create the
    workload and join the TOR.
