Error description
CICS using EXEC INQUIRE TASK IPFACILITIES in a PCREQ exit, command functions and returns proper results, but causes the following error message: DFHSM0002 A severe error (code X'0305') has occurred in module DFHSMGF Looking at internal trace in the dump we see the following exception trace entry: *EXC* - Invalid_freemain_address - FUNCTION(FREEMAIN) ADDRESS(18F308E8) This freemain was issued out of module DFHUEH and specified a storage class of CICS, yet when the storage was getmained out of DFHEIQSK its specified a storage class of TASK. DFHEIQSK getmains the browse interface block (BIB) as TASK storage but, on exit from the GLUE, DFHAPEVI frees the BIB as CICS storage. This causes DFHSM0002 severe error code X'0305', invalid_freemain_address. A similar problem could happen if this command were issued from a task-related user exit (TRUE) or a user replaceable module (URM). Additional keywords: EIQSKBIB EIQSPBIB APEVI SM0002
Problem conclusion
DFHEIQSK has been altered to getmain EIQSKBIB storage as CICS storage.
