Error description
When start CKBR ( CICS-MQ bridge transaction ) with DEBUG=A parameter, CSQC999I has been issued incorrectory. +Q=SYSTEM.C CKBR 000076 CS.BRIDGE.QUEUE,WAIT=30,MSG=BOTH,DEBUG=A +DFHMQ0700 I CTS32A CKBR 00077 CICS-MQ BRIDGE INITIALIZATION IN PROGRESS. +DFHMQ0702 I CTS32A CKBR 00077 CICS-MQ BRIDGE MONITOR INITIALIZATION COMPLETE. +DFHMQ0703 I CTS32A CKBR 00077 WAITINTERVAL=30,000, AUTH=LOCAL, Q=SYSTEM.CICS.BRIDGE.QUEUE. +DFHMQ0783 I CTS32A CKBR 00077 MSG=BOTH, PASSTKTA=CTS32A. +DFHMQ0792 I CTS32A CKBR 00077 ROUTEMEM=N +CSQC999I Tr CKBR 0000077 ce point: BrwseFirst . There are three problems. 1. The message CSQC999I should be DFHMQxxx in CTS 3.2 2. CSQC999I contains garbage. In MQ v6, CSQC999I looks as follows. CSQC999I CKBR 0009065 Trace point: BrwseFirst 3. There is garbage in first line. "+ Q=SYSTEM.C CKBR 0000076 CS.BRIDGE.QUEUE" contains garbage. The correct Queue name is SYSTEM.CICS.BRIDGE.QUEUE and also there are no message id. . Note: DEBUG=A is hidden parameter for debugging CICS-MQ brideg.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A CKBR DEBUG statement entered manually * * is reported in JESMSGLG with the wrong * * message header and other errors. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Messages issued to the log after using CKBR from a terminal appear in the wrong format, and are inconsistent with what Websphere MQ produces in the same circumstances. Additionally, one of these messages has an incorrect header of CSQC999I which should be DFHMQ0999I. Keyword: WMQ
Problem conclusion
Module DFHMQBR0 has been altered so that the message which echoed the CKBR parameters is no longer produced. Module DFHMQBR2 has been altered so that the debug trace message with header CSQC999I is now changed to DFHMQ0999I and the message is now issued to CMQM instead of CSMT. : In the CICS Transaction Server for z/OS Version 4 Release 1 Messages and Codes manual (GC34-7035-00), insert the following entry immediately after the entry for message DFHMQ0792I: : DFHMQ0999I tranid tasknum Trace point: trace function Explanation: This message displays the name of function being traced System action: Processing continues User response: None Module: DFHMQBR2 XMEOUT Parameters: date, time, applid, tranid, trannum, tracefunc Destination Console and Transient Data Queue CMQM and Terminal End User
