PK90698: LE DETECTS A CORRUPTION OF ITS CONTROL BLOCKS AND CICS ISSUES MESSAGE DFHAP1301.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If a transaction is purged while the transaction is still being
  attached the purge is deferred. After attach processing has
  completed and before control is transferred to the initial
  programme the purge can be actioned by DFHAPLI1. This causes
  CICS to make a program check call to LE before any other LE
  calls have been made and before LE has initialised its control
  block. In this situation CICS should not make the program check
  call to LE.

  During transaction initialisation the transaction being
  initialised is purged. This causes DFHAPLI1's recovery
  routine to be driven before CICS has made any calls to LE
  for this transaction. CICS makes a program check recovery call
  to LE but because LE has not been called previously by CICS,
  LE returns with return code 8. This means that LE cannot
  recover and LE has detected a control block error. CICS issues
  message DFHAP1301 before abending the transaction.

Problem conclusion

• DFHAPLI1's recovery routine has been changed so it only
  makes the program check recover call to LE if CICS has already
  made a previous call to LE.
