• Closed as program error.

Error description

• BATCHREP LIST or DUMP commands will fail under CICS TS 4.1 for
  resource type of SYSLINK.  The following message will appear in
  the SYSOUT output in the CMAS for the BATCHREP commands:

  EYUXU0203E  Method failure in (XDBX) - response (02) - reason
  (04).

  Similar results may occur using the API as well.
  .
  Looking at the exception trace entry in the CMAS AUX trace
  dataset, you will see the following, with a BUFFER_TOO_SMALL
  reason:

  *                      LIST command fails with the following   *

  * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this    *
  *                 APAR, all CMASes must be recycled to pick    *
  *                 up the new code.  Note that the restarts     *
  *                 do not need to be done at the same time.     *
  ****************************************************************
     To provide SYSLINK support for IPIC connections, a seventh
  attribute was added to the key of the SYSLINK resource table.
  When module EYU0XDBX (XBDX - BATCHREP Execution Mainline) calls
  EYU0MOTB (MOTB - Managed Object Table Services) to retrieve the
  key structure, the passed buffer is only large enough to return
  information on six segments.
  

Problem conclusion

• The buffer passed to MOTB by XDBX was expanded to allow
  information on all segments of the SYSLINK resource table
  key to be returned.
  

Temporary fix

• FIX AVAILABLE BY PTF ONLY
