Error description
During the processing of the first message DFHZC3462, DFHZNAC exit A21 scheduled DFHZOPN, TCTECOR, to run because TCTECLG is on. TCTECLG was turned on when the CINIT was rejected by DFHZLGX. DFHZOPN uses TCTECID to do the OPNDST. TCTECID has been set with nulls by DFHZCLS clean-up (First message DFHZC3462). This causes the duplicate DFHZC3462 message. Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: DFHZC3462 message being issued twice * * for the same device running on a * * specific LU. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The CICS/VTAM LOSTERM exit DFHZLTX was driven for a terminal resulting in message DFHZC2410. The transaction running at the terminal ABENDed ATNI and the terminal was scheduled for CLSDST processing, message DFHZC3462 session closed. During ABEND processing the terminal attempted to log back on to CICS. The CICS/VTAM logon exit DFHZLGX was driven and set flag TCTECLG to indicate that a CLSDST and LOGON request were in progress. In response to the logon DFHZOPN ran for OPNDST processing. However the original CLSDST processing was not fully complete and the BIND request from CICS was rejected (RPLFDBK '0009'x). The failed BIND request and subsequent cleanup caused a second DFHZC3462 message for the same LU. Additional keywords: MSGDFHZC3462 TCTECOR DFHZOPX
Problem conclusion
DFHZLGX has been changed for the reported problem so that a logon request received during CLSDST processing will be rejected.
