Error description

  • Various problems using
    - A CICS mapped binding can go outbound when the EXEC CICS
    INVOKE call sets a URI.
    - The maxCommareaLength from the SCDL is not used.
    - The PIPELINE used on a Reference is not overridden by fields
    set in a promoted reference.

    ****************************************************************
    Various problems using Service Component Architecture (SCA):
    - A CICS mapped binding can incorrectly do an outbound
    request when the EXEC CICS INVOKE SERVICE call sets a URI.
    - The maxCommareaLength from the SCDL is not used.
    - The PIPELINE used on a Reference is not overridden by fields
    set in a promoted reference.
    The problems are caused by CICS:
     - not using the binding uri for CICS mapped bindings;
     - always using a default value of 32000 for maxCommareaLength;
     - not searching the full reference binding chain when using a
       reference.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHPIIW has been updated to correctly honour the binding URI for
    a CICS mapped binding. DFHPICA has been updated to use the
    MaxCommareaLength binding value and to report the correct
    pipeline for a reference.
