    ****************************************************************
DFHD2EDF formats the screen for CEDF to display on
execution of a DB2 command. The command execution complete
screen which is built has a start field order X'1D'
preceding the "P.AUTH=" field in the screen header which is
followed by an attribute byte X'60', DFHBMPRO. The effect of
this should have been to turn off highlighting for the
subsequent fields. However, the X'1D' character was identified
as non-EBCDIC by CEDF and replaced on the display by X'4B', a
period. This meant that the following byte was not recognized
as an attribute byte and was displayed as character '-'.
    Additional keywords: EBCDIC displayable non-displayable
                         fullstop PK90237

Problem conclusion

  • DFHEDFCB has been altered so that it no longer translates
all characters in the display data formatted by a TRUE
    into EBCDIC.
The displayable data for SQLERRMC will be scanned for any
X'28' character and, if found, will convert it to X'4B'
    (period).
