Error description

  • Using DFHCSDUP to Define a TCPIPSERVICE and receiving the
    following message:
    .
    DFHCA5204 E COMMAND NOT EXECUTED. 'ATTACHSEC' KEYWORD IS NOT
    VALID.
    .
    This problem is occurring due to the following:
    .
    DFHEITCU is the language table used by DFHCSDUP when checking
    the valid keywords. This does not include definitions for the
    DEFINE command, but these are built in to DFHEITCU from
    DFHEITSP. DFHEITSP does include the ATTACHSEC keyword
    definition, but DFHEITCU does not. Also the old values for SSL
    and CERTIFICATE are in DFHEITCU, which specify NOTVSE. So the
    CERTIFICATE and SSL keywords are not currently recognized by
    DFHCSDUP either.
    .
    Additional Symptom(s) Search Keyword(s):
    KIXREVDAM MSGDFHCA5204

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When using DFHCSDUP to define a TCPIPSERVICE with
    ATTACHSEC, SSL or CERTIFICATE specified, these keywords are
    not recognized and message DFHCA5204 is issued for the invalid
    keyword.
    DFHEITCU, the language table used by DFHCSDUP, has been
    incorrectly built and does not contain the ATTACHSEC, SSL or
    CERTIFICATE keywords at this release.
    Additional keywords: CA5204 MSGDFHCA5204

Problem conclusion

  • DFHEITCU has been rebuilt with the correct level of
    DFHEITSP which contains all the necessary keywords.
