    ****************************************************************
    - When a request is sent from a CMAS to a MAS, method EYU0CTBT
(CTBT) marks the EYURCTSB to be in XMIT state, and then
performs other processing that will provide the request to
the MAS. If the request times out while CTBT is processing
it, the EYURCTSB control block will be orphaned. If this
happens frequently during the run of a CMAS, the EYURCTSB
control blocks can be exhausted, which will result in the
       EYUCT0105E message.

    - When a request is sent from a CMAS to a MAS or a MAS to a
CMAS, CTBT acquires an SMTB from the free pool, places the
parameter list into the SMTB, and then queues it to the
partner system, where the SMTB will be returned to the free
pool. If an error occurs in CTBT such that the request is
not queued, the SMTB is not returned to the free pool. If
this happens frequently during the run of a CMAS, the SMTBs
can be exhausted, which will result in the EYUCL0122E
       message.

Problem conclusion

  • - CTBT has been updated to turn on a flag in the EYURCTSB to
indicate that the request is in progress when it turns on the
XMIT flag, and to turn off the in progress flag when it
resets the XMIT flag to EXEC. While the in progress flag is
on, the request is not eligible for time out.

    - CTBT has been updated to return the SMTB to the free pool if
it is not queued to the partner system.
