  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • You have some programs defined in your DFHCSD, and some that are
autoinstalled. CPSM may display the ones that are autoinstalled
with a language of NOTDEFINED instead of the true language.
CEMT INQ PROGRAM shows the correct language.

    * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the fix for this APAR, all *

    *                 time.                                        *
    ****************************************************************
CICSPlex SM uses the EXEC CICS INQUIRE PROGRAM command to
determine the value of the Language attribute for the Program
resource tables. The Language attribute may not be correct
    under the following situations:

If the language is not defined in the CSD

If the language is not defined by BAS definition

If the language is not defined by AUTOINSTALL

If the language is specified incorrectly

Problem conclusion

  • Updated EYUQ0017 (CPSM NAG table generation for PROGRAM base
table). For BTBLFLD=LANGUAGE, the KEP1 and KEP2 value was
changed from 3 to 26, which denotes LANGDEDUCED and allows the
CICS program manager to deduce the correct language.
