Error description

  • After running a statistics report on a CICS region the
    customer noticed the value for "Peak TCBs in use in this TCB
    Pool" was not being reset to current value after a specified
    statistics interval completed.

    The number of peak TCBs in the OPEN TCB pool statistics is not
    consistent with the number of open TCBs in use in the CICS TCB
    Mode statistics because they are not being reset on a statistics
    interval.

Problem conclusion

  • Changes have been made to DFHDSST in order to cause these
    statistics to be reset thus making them consistent with the
    open TCBs in use in the CICS TCB Mode statistics.
