Error description

  • The event processing adapter hits maxtask at a relaitively
low throughput rate.  Analysis shows tasks waiting on
CCVSAMWT and trace shows this is due to catalog writes.

During WEB OPEN URIMAP processing, CICS code will resolve the
IP address and store it using DFHWBURM FUNCTION(SET_URIMAP).
                                                               .
By default the SET_URIMAP data is written to the catalog but as
it is never recovered,  CICS need not have done this.

Problem conclusion


    

  • DFHWBUR and DFHWBCL have been modified and will no longer
catalog the SET_URIMAP.
