Error description
All requests from a Corba Server fail with abendARZ5 if the TCPIPSERVICE for IIOP specifies a URM . (The URM for a Protocol(IIOP) TCPIPSERVICE specifies the name of the IIOP User-Replaceable Security Program. DFHXOPUS is the sample program for this purpose.) If you do not specify a URM on the IIOP TCPIPSERVICE, the problem does not happen.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS users with the PTF of APAR * * PM08662 applied. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: AbendARZ5 when calling an EJB method * * in CICS and the IIOP security exit is * * used. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** When calling an EJB method in CICS and the IIOP Security exit (DFHXOPUS) is active the request processor task will abend ARZ5. The abend is issued because the target request stream task incorrectly believes that the source task is no longer active. The target task determines whether or not the source task is active by use of an ENQ, it should ENQ upon the same value as the source task (the source task's UOWID) so it expects that the enqueue will fail. However the two tasks are enqueueing upon different values. This problem occurs because, in the source task processing, if a URM is specified on the TCPIPSERVICE definition then there is a SYNCPOINT after the call to the URM that causes a change in the UOWID. So the UOWID passed to the target task is different from the one at the time of the source task's ENQ. The target task is therefore able to successfully get the ENQ so it believes that the source task has gone and abends with an ARZ5. This problem only occurs if PTF UK55402 (apar PM08862) is applied. Problem conclusion
UK55402 DFHIIRH has been altered to re-enqueue on the new UOWID after the call to the IIOP security exit.
