    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When performing an INQUIRE FILE for a *
    * file on a remote region and exits *
    * XFCAREQ and XFCAREQC are enabled, *
    * original PLIST arguments are used and *
    * not those produced by the EXITs. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When using the EXIT XFCAREQ and performing an INQUIRE FILE,
    existence bits which are modified by the EXIT are not being
    propagated through to the INQUIRE FILE, instead only the
    original existence bits used by the original command are being
    used.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHEIQDS has been changed to honour existence bit modifications
    from the XFCAREQ user exit.
