  • Abend AEZC can occur when linking to an XPLINK program becasue
    the runtime entry point value has not been initialised
    correctly in DFHAPLX1. This can cause DFHAPLX1 to incorrectly
    determine that the program being linked to is AMODE(24).

    Message "DFHPC0409 xxxxxxxx Abends ASRA and ASRA have
    been issued while processing abend AEZC for the same task "
    may also be seen (where xxxxxxxx is the CICS applid)

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    An XPLINK program defined as THREADSAFE which is run by a
    transaction defined with TASKDATALOC(ANY) causes DFHAPLX1 to
    ABEND AEZC because DFHAPLX1 incorrectly determines that the
    program is linked in AMODE(24).

Problem conclusion

  • UK49087

    Changes have been made to DFHAPLX1 to correctly determine the
    AMODE of an XPLINK program.
