If WLM Optimization is disabled in the CSYSDEF resource
for a workload Target Region, the Optimization Status for
the target region, contained in the WLMATARG and WLMAWAOR
resource tables and displayed in the corresponding WUI views
might not be properly initialized when target regions become
    available.

Problem conclusion

  • Module EYU0WMAA (WMAA - WLM Activate Target Region) was
modified to initialize the OWSTATE field in the WAOR (WLM AOR
Descriptor), for regions executing CICS R660 or higher, to
INACTIVE if not initialized during a prior execution of the
region. If WLM Optimization is enabled for the region, OWSTATE
will be set to ACTIVE when the Target Region connects to an
    active RS Server.
