Error description

  • After migrating to Service Flow Runtime 3.2, you find that you
    are able to enter data into a field that is defined as
    protected.
    A service flow was modeled to reference multiple fields
    including input fields to receive data. At runtime, a backend
    application changes some of these input fields to protected.
    Under Service Flow Runtime 3.1, when data was passed into these
    protected fields, the message CIA07011W:
    PROTECTED-UPDATE-WARNING was issued. However, when running
    under SFR 3.2, no message is issued and input is accepted
    in the fields which have the protected attribute.

    In the reported problem, the user migrated from SFR 3.1 to 3.2.
    When running a service flow at 3.1, message CIA07011W was issued
    when the flow attempted to update a protected field.
                                                                   .
    The equivalent message at SFR 3.2 is DFHMA07011W but this was
    not issued when running the same flow, in addition it was
    possible to update what should have been a protected field.
