Error description
While parsing a SOAP message you receive the following error: . DFHPI0602 09/09/2010 09:21:16 REGNNAME The CICS SOAP handler failed to parse a message. The parser error code is 0. The DFHPIEP return code is 9. The error was found at offset xxx into the message. . The problem was determined to be the following line of code: . <SOAP-ENV:Body id="_0"> . The "id" attribute does not have a namespace prefix and there is no default namespace in effect so DFHPIEP does not know what schema it is part of. . However, the SOAP specifications allows use of the "id" attribute and this should of been acceptable and DFHPIEP should be altered to not reject the use of the "id" attribute in the SOAP elements (Envelope, Header and Body). .
