Error description
A problem is encountered while trying to attach a transaction on an IPIC session. CICS then attempts to issue a DFHXM0306 message, but the call to DFHMEME to issue the message was made without the message number, so CICS tries to issue message number '0000' but fails. . The problem is in DFHXMTA. We check xm_txn_facility_type and it is not one of the expected values, so the message number does not get initialized. . Looking at a dump, the XM domain for the task will show a facility type of ???? . Tran Tran TxnAddr Start Sys Status DS Facility Facility id num TxdAddr code Tran token type token ---------------------------------------------------------------- ABCD 12345 384A3700 C No ACT 06042E31 ???? . In the DFHXMTXN control block, in field xm_txn_facility_type, you will see a value of x'06' indicating XMIQ_ISSESSION. . Additional Symptoms: . KIXREVSCB
