    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Sites may receive the following message *
    *                      in a CMAS running 0320 level libraries  *
    *                      connecting to a 0410 level MP CMAS:     *
    *                                                              *
    * EYUBM0102W BAS has reported an error *
    *                       processing event (EDefChg).            *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this *
    * APAR, all CMASes must be recycled to pick up *
    * the changed code. Note that the restarts do *
    * not need to occur at the same time. *
    ****************************************************************
    BAS SYSLINK definitions for CPSM V4R1M0 support both ISC/MRO and
    IPIC connections. BAS SYSLINK definitions for CPSM V3R2M0 only
    support ISC/MRO connections. If a CPSM V4R1M0 MP CMAS creates
    an IPIC SYSLINK in a CICSplex that is also managed by a CPSM
    V3R2M0 CMAS, the record will be written to the CPSM V3R2M0
    CMAS's data repository, but a failure will occur when BAS in the
    V3R2M0 CMAS attempts to process the IPIC SYSLINK.

Problem conclusion

  • Modules EYU0XDIP (XDIP - Data repository Plex Import) and
    EYU0XDRS (XDRS - Data repository upgrade) were modified to check
    if they are processing an IPIC SYSLINK. If so, the record is
    not written to the data repository.
