Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICSPlex SM V4R1M0 Users * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The EYU9XDUT CPSM batch definition * * utlility is allowing IPIC SYSLINK * * referential integrity records to be * * written to the data repository when it * * is being downgraded from CPSM V4R1M0 to * * a target version of 0310 or 0320. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this * * APAR, the EYU9XDUT utility must be rerun. * * Ensure the STEPLIB DD statement references * * the library where the PTF was applied. * **************************************************************** BAS SYSLINK definitions for CPSM V4R1M0 support both ISC/MRO and IPIC connections. BAS SYSLINK definitions for CPSM V3R2M0 and CPSM V3R1M0 only support ISC/MRO connections. If a CPSM V4R1M0 data repository is downgraded to a target version of 0310 or 0320 using the EYU9XDUT batch repository conversion program, IPIC SYSLINK referential integrity records will be written to the new data repository.
Problem conclusion
Module EYU9XDU1 (XDU1 - Batch Repository Conversion) was modified to determine whether it is processing an IPIC SYSLINK referential integrity record when the data repository is being downgraded to a version prior to 0410. If so, the record is not written to the data repository.
