Error description

  • There is some code in DFHZLGX that extract the PORT number from
CV x'64', CV data x'82', using a Load Halword. The LH is a
signed instruction. This result in the PORT number being
converted into a negative value. This value is stored in the
AWE which is used later by DFHZATA to issue message DFHZC6908.

Problem conclusion


    

  • The CICS logon exit, DFHZLGX, has been changed so that message
DFHZC6908 displays the correct port number, when the port number
is greater than 32767 and a terminal is autoinstalled using
TELNET.
