    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Records cannot be added to DFHTEMP *
    * because items have not been deleted. *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    A Temporary Storage 'leak' can occur on an AOR for transactions
    routed from an TOR to an AOR when using the 'Enhanced Method' of
    transaction routing. As a consequence, the Temporary Storage
    dataset ( DFHTEMP ) can become filled with TS items that are no
    longer required. These items have a name format of: DFxxxxxx
    ( where xxxxxx are alphanumeric characters ).
                                                                   .
    Depending on whether or not the number of additional Control
    Intervals has been exceeded, CICS may continue processing or
    issue DFHTS1315 ( indicating DFHTEMP has exceeded the maximum
    number of supported CI's ).

Problem conclusion

  • DFHXTP has been amended and will now release the TS items in the
    AOR as part of detach processing of the routed task.
