Error description

  • You are running CICS TS v4.1 and receive the following message:
DFHTR0112 Bad data passed for tracing to module DFHTRPT.

Looking at the dump, there is also an 0C4 in DFHTRPT at offset
    x'0506'.

Here are the PSW and Regs from the 0C4 in DFHTRPT that happens
when trying to move the trace entry to the trace table:

    PSW: 078D3000 99A40ACE Instruction Length: 2 Interrupt
    Code: 11 Exception Address: 349AA800

    00007000 1B8E0328 349A9F58 000000B0
The failing instruction is 0E0E. RegE, 349A9F58 is the address
of the DFHDSAT parm list built by DFHMQLTT.

This problem is caused by APAR PM08649 PTF UK57632. UK57632 is
currently PE'd but for a different problem. This problem
happens when DFHDSAT is trying to trace the DFHDSAT parameter
list on a CHANGE_MODE call from DFHMQLTT.

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
A customer is using the CICS/MQ interface with message
conversion which invokes module DFHMQLTT. Because of a
mismatch in the dispatcher parameter list which DFHMQLTT
needs when it performs a task switch, bad data is passed
for tracing with the following message being issued:
DFHTR0112 Bad data passed for tracing to module DFHTRPT
    Additional keywords: msgdfhtr0112 msgtr0112

Problem conclusion

  • UK57632
DFHMQLTT requires re-compiling to pick up the new DFHDSAT
parmlist copybook which was increased in length by UK57632.
