Error description

  • Sometimes CICS can pass low core instead of registers at the
    time of the interrupt (commregs) to LE during
    rununit_end_invocation.

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    64-bit registers are not available when, for example, an
    interrupt occurs when the CICS RB was not in control during a
    loop. At rununit_end_invocation, CICS should pass LE the 31-bit
    registers in place of the 64-bit registers, but instead passes
    storage held at low core. A consequence of this is that LE
    doesn't produce its diagnostic information in CEEMSG.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHAPLI1 has been changed to provide LE with the 31-bit
    registers when the 64-bit registers are not available.
