PM40520: ABEND0C4 IN DFHRMR1D OFFSET 01FC ON A EXECUTE INSTRUCTION. DFHRM0001 REPORTS THE ABEND DURING WARM RESTART.

Error description

• During warm or emergency restart you are getting
  DFHRM0001 reporting abend0C4 in DFHRMR1D at offset 01FC .
  This message follows message DFHLG0749 reporting that the
  system log scan has completed.
  .
  The failing instruction is an Execute Instruction ( 44406A92 )
  that is executing a MVC instruction ( D200D3F0200B ).  Reg4
  contains FFFFFFFF .  Reg2 is within X'10A' of the end of a
  CICS extent.  (In one example Reg2 is 24CFFEFD .)
  

Local fix

• Try restarting AUTO again a couple of times.  If that doesn't
  work do a Cold start.

  The rmr1d_deliver_non_uow_related_log_record code fragment in
  DFHRMR1D moves log record data for non-UOW related log records.
  It has code to copy the resource_id data, but has no check to
  ensure this data exists before attempting to copy it. Since the
  MVC uses an EX instruction with xFF bytes of data to be copied,
  the source address plus range may lead to an abend 0C4 if the
  MVC attempts to copy data from an unavailable page of memory
  after the end of the page containing the log record.

• DFHRMR1D has been changed to ensure that resource_id data is
  present in the log record before attempting to copy the data.
