Error description

  • After applying PTF UK67441 for APAR PM37829 BATCHREP DUMP
    output for CICS resources new to CICS TS V4.1 generate CREATE
    statements which comment out the CREATE statement itself.
    .
    For example:
    .
    *CREATE ATOMDEF   CHANGEAGENT(DREPAPI)
    *                 CREATETIME(mm/dd/yyyy-hh:mm:ss.nnnn)
    *                 CHANGEUSRID(xxxxxxx)
    *                 CHANGEAGREL(0660)
    DEFVER(1)
    NAME(SAMP)
    .
    The ATOMDEF is commented out. If the BATCHREP DUMP output is
    used as input, the DEFVER parameter is encountered first
    resulting in the EYUXU0204E message.

       CICS Transaction Server V4.1 added governance attributes to
    CPSM definitional resources, including BAS resource definitions.
    For resource types which existed in prior releases of CPSM, the
    new governance attributes were assigned ID numbers (IDNs) which
    were beyond the previous high IDN. For new resource types added
    in CICS Transaction Server V4.1, the governance attributes were
    assigned IDNs beginning with the first non-reserved IDN.
       All attribute(value) pairs generated by the BATCHREP DUMP
    verb which are not valid for input in CREATE commands, including
    the governance attributes, are commented out. Because the first
    attribute(value) pair was rendered on the same card image as
    the CREATE verb, the BATCHREP verb and resource type were com-
    mented out, resulting in the observed errors when the generated
    stream was processed by BATCHREP.

Problem conclusion

  • When the output of a DUMP command is formatted by module
    EYU0XDBR (XDBR - BATCHREP Resolve Processed MAL), the initial
    verb "CREATE" and the resource type are rendered on a separate
    card preceding the first ATTRIBUTE(VALUE) pair.
