APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • DFHWBRP is not examining the authentication setting when it
reads the URIMAP back from the catalog. This causes the
parameter AUTHENTICATE(BASIC) is not passed to DFHWBUR when it
creates the installed URIMAP on a warm restart.
This means AUTHENTICATE will be set as the default,
    AUTENTICATE(Noauthentic).

Local fix

  • reinstall the urimap manualy after start up

    ****************************************************************
One of the parameters which may be specified for a URIMAP is
authenticate. This can take settings of none or basic. This
setting was not being catalogued. The result of this is that
when CICS was shut down and then warm or emergency restarted,
it was not possible to recover the setting.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHWBRP has been changed so that the catalog record for a
URIMAP contains the authenticate setting. The value is written
when URIMAPs are installed and read during a warm or
    emergency restart.
