* RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this    *
*                 APAR, the EYU9XDBT utility must be rerun.    *
*                 Ensure the STEPLIB DD statement references   *
*                 the library where the PTF was applied.       *
****************************************************************
EYU9XDBT is one of the CICSPlex SM batch data repository
management programs.  The program is shipped as compiled REXX.
Users of z/OS versions prior to 1.10 (who had not installed the
REXX interpreter into their base operating systems) had to use
the REXX alternate runtime library to enable the program to
execute.  The REXX Alternate Library was merged into the z/OS
base at z/OS 1.10.  The minimum z/OS release required to execute
CICS TS V4.2 is z/OS 1.11.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The comments in the sample EYU9XDBT JCL relating to the REXX
alternate library are now superfluous, and have been removed for
the sake of clarity.
