PM44666: DFHPI0702 E PIPELINE ENCOUNTERED AN ERROR IN THE CONFIGURATION FILE WHEN CODING ELEMENT NAMED_TRANSPORT_ENTRY TYPE="WMQ"

Error description

• You are setting up a CICS Web Service provider
  pipeline  definition that has a config file
  defined with a transport section with
  The <named_transport_entry> element
  <named_transport_entry type="wmq">
  When you invoke the webservice , it results in CICS
  error message :
  DFHPI0702 E PIPELINE pipeline encountered an error
  in the configuration file yourconfig.xml at
  offset X'000000B3'. The element name is <name>.
  Changing the named_transport_entry attribute to type="MQ"
  resolves this problem and allows the pipeline to install
  successfully.
  Program DFHPIPL checks for type MQ and not type WMQ
  as document in the CICS Information Center section
  The pipeline configuration file > Service provider elements>
  The <named_transport_entry> element .
  After you change to type="MQ" and you coded multiple
  <named_transport_entry> elements, and invoke the
  webservice, you now see error message
  DFHPI0720 E PIPELINE pipeline encountered an error in
  the configuration file yourconfigfile.xml at offset
  X'00000221'. Found : <handler> yet expected : a transport
  handler list.
  DFHPIPL invalidly parses the xml when the config file
  contains multiple <named_transport_entry> elements.

• Code the named_transport_entry with type="mq"

  'wmq' is specified as the transport type on the
  <named_transport_entry> element in the pipeline configuration
  file.
  In addition message DFHPI0720 is received if more than one
  <named_transport_entry> element is specified within
  the <transport> element.

Problem conclusion

• DFHPIPL has been changed so that 'wmq' is allowed as the
  transport type on the <named_transport_entry>. Also, more
  than one <named_transport_entry> element will be
  accepted on the <transport> element in a pipeline configuration
  file when the PIPELINE is installed.
