You can track all active APARs for this component.

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The BadWRKLD traces occur when a distributed route is shipped
for a workload to an AOR which is also marked as a TOR, but for
a different workload than the route was for.
Would be helpful a way just to disable the trace entry type.

Local fix

  • Removing the AORs as TORs, or removing the DSRTPGM=EYU9XLOP
    from the AORs.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Auxiliary trace data sets may become *
    * flooded with records containing a debug *
    * text of BadWRKLD and a trace point id *
    *                      of 29.                                  *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this *
    * APAR, all MASes must be recycled to pick up *
    * the changed code. Note that the restarts do *
    * not need to occur at the same time. *
    ****************************************************************
The BadWRKLD traces occur when a distributed route is shipped
for a workload to an AOR which is also marked as a TOR, but for
a different workload than the route was for.

    WDIN (EYU0WDIN - DTR Program Call Initialization/termination)
generates an exception trace when this condition exists,
possibly flooding the Aux trace data set with BadWRKLD entries,
which may end up hiding the real problem.

Problem conclusion

  • Modified EYU0WDIN to change the BadWRKLD exception trace to a
    Level 31 trace.
