    found the following message in the CICS Log and the BUNDLE
    was not installed during WARM START:
    DFHRL0119 E The CICS resource life-cycle bundle class failed
    to re-create the BUNDLE resource SOAP11 because of failed
    consistency checks with the manifest
    /cicsprod/webservices/bundles/soap11/META-INF/cics.xml.
    The manifest file on HFS was not changed!

Local fix

  • Discarding and re-installing the bundles solved the situation.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Message msgDFHRL0119 is issued after *
    *                      a warm restart of CICS.                 *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    A bundle is not re-created during a CICS warm start if the
    system clock has been changed (for summer/winter time) since
    the bundle was initially created.

    The problem occurs because a timestamp catalogued when the
    bundle is created is compared with a timestamp from HFS for
    the bundle manifest file at CICS warm restart. If the system
    clock has been altered for summer/winter time change between
    the bundle creation and the warm start, the timestamps will
    differ. This causes the re-creation of the bundle to fail
    and message DFHRL0119 is issued by DFHRLPK1.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHRLPK1 has been changed to obtain the last modified
    utctime.
