PM50125: MESSAGE DFHBR0202 CONTAINS BAD DATA REPRESENTING THE ABEND CODE BEING REPORTED

Error description

• Message DFHBR0202 is issued due to the custmer autoinstall
  exit program abending. DFHBR0202 is reporting the abend but the
  message contains bad data for the abend code.
  DFHBR0202 is issued during INSTALL_BRIDGE_FACILITY processing
  of DFHBRAI. Routine DFHBRAI_PGLU_LINK_URM_ERROR is called due
  to the autoinstall exit program abending. The PGLU parmlist
  contains the abend code in field PGLU_ABEND_CODE. However, just
  prior to issuing the message, routine DISABLE_AIBRIDGE_URM is
  called to disable the autoinstall program. The disable call
  reuses the PGLU parmlist as a PGIS parmlist which leads to
  field PGLU_ABEND_CODE being trashed.  When we return to
  routine DFHBRAI_PGLU_LINK_URM_ERROR to issue the DFHBR0202
  message, Insert2 representing the abend code is bad data taken
  from field PGLU_ABEND_CODE.

  A user application issues an EXEC CICS LINK PROGRAM('DFHL3270')
  command. Meanwhile, SIT parameter AIBRIDGE is set to YES.
  The link request calls bridge manager and subsequently bridge
  autoinstall program DFHBRAI is invoked. DFHBRAI calls user
  replacable module and the module returns abend to DFHBRAI.
  DFHBRAI error routine invokes two actions. First disable user
  replacable module and then send out error message. These two
  process are using the same storage for parameters. Thus after
  user replacable program is disabled, it overlays the storage of
  abend code and leads to unreadable abend code is displayed in
  console.

Problem conclusion

• DFHBRAI has been changed to define two pieces of separate
  storage for the parameters passed to disable bridge autoinstall
  user replacable module and send out error message to avoid
  storage overlay.
