Error description

• You receive a DFHSO0002 message and a system dump when
  attempting to use SSL whilst at or near MAXSSLTCBS with a
  time-out set.
  .
  Investigation will show that an attempt to switch to an
  S8 SSL TCB has failed with a PURGED/TIMED_OUT response.

  CICS attempts to write an HTTP message using an SSL connection.
  DFHSOSE calls DFHDSAT to CHANGE_MODE to an S8 TCB, however
  no sockets are available and the request times out. This
  causes DFHDSAT to return a PURGED response with a reason
  code of TIMED_OUT.
  
  DFHSOSE does not handle this response but instead
  treats it as a severe error. This results in message
  DFHSO0002 being issued and a system dump is taken.

Problem conclusion

• DFHSOSE has been altered to check for a PURGED response with
  a reason of TIMED_OUT after the DFHDSAT call to CHANGE_MODE.
  In that case DFHSOSE will issue a new message, DFHSO0135, and
  return an response of SOSE_PURGED with a reason of
  SOSE_TIMED_OUT.
  DFHMESOE has been altered to add the new message.

  The CICS Transaction Server for z/OS Version 4 Release 1,
  Messages and Codes manual, GC34-7035-02, has been
  altered to add message DFHSO0135 as follows:
  
  DFHSO0135W applid An attempt to switch to an S8 SSL TCB has
  failed because the request has timed out.
  
  Explanation: An attempt to switch to an S8 SSL TCB has
  failed because the request has timed out.
  System action: The SSL request is not performed and the
  task is purged.
  User response: Increase the number of S8 SSL TCBs
  available to the CICS sockets domain by changing the
  MAXSSLTCBS value, either in the SIT or via the CEMT
  SET DISPATCHER command.
