PM54145: EYUSTARTWLMATRAN TABULAR VIEW DISPLAYS ENTRY FOR A TRANSACTION WHICH HAS BEEN REMOVED

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• You remove one or more transactions from a transaction group
  and then install the workload definition (WLMDEF) which refers
  to the updated TRANGRP but find that the transations which have
  been removed still show up in the WLMATRAN view.

  Dynamic routing continues to target AORs for transactions which
  have been removed from the TRANGRP.
  

Local fix

• Use the "Force" action on the EYUSTARTWLMATRAN.TABULUAR view to
  force the transactions from the TRANGRP.

  * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this    *
  *                 APAR, all CMASes must be recycled to pick    *
  *                 up the new code.  Note that the restarts     *
  *                 do not need to be done at the same time.     *
  ****************************************************************
     When a dynamic transaction is moved from one TRANGRP to
  another and WLMDEFs which refer to the TRANGRP are reinstalled
  the transaction is removed from the list of active dynamic
  transactions as part of the process of installing it under the
  new TRANGRP.  However, if the transaction does not appear in
  the list of transactions to be installed which is passed to
  module EYU0WMWI (WMWI - WLM Install WLMDEF) no action is taken.
  The transaction remains installed under the original TRANGRP.
  

Problem conclusion

•    Module EYU0WMWI was modified to scan the list of active
  dynamic transactions for any transactions which were originally
  installed under the TRANGRP being installed.  If any transaction
  does not also appear in the list of transactions being installed
  it has been removed from the original TRANGRP and is not being
  reinstalled under another TRANGRP.  In this case, the dynamic
  transaction will be discarded from the active workload.  If an
  active transaction is also in the list of transactions being
  installed, but under a different TRANGRP, it will be discarded
  and reinstalled under the new TRANGRP.
