Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS Users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Customised document templates used with * * DFHWBTTB contain corrupted input fields * * in response. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** 3270 Web Bridge is used with customised document templates. There is a field in the map defined as PROT and BRT. A SEND MAP command is issued with field attribute set to PROT, DRK and FSET. This sets the prod_mdt flag to be on and generates a hidden input field on the screen. The next SEND MAP command is issued with DATAONLY. A new value is supplied for the field and there is no field attribute change. Because the field in the map is defined as PROT and BRT, DFHWBMMS generates a hidden field. However, because this SEND MAP is DATAONLY and there is no field attribute change, DFHWBBMS is also reusing the fields on the screen including the existing hidden field. The new hidden field corrupts the existing hidden field such as that shown below: <input type="hidden" name="FFFFFFFFFF_NNNNN" value="VALUE: <input type="hidden" name="FFFFFFFFFF_NNNNN" value="VALUE:">"> Additional Keywords: DFHWBTTA
Problem conclusion
DFHWBBMS is changed so that the hidden field is not corrupted during the second SEND MAP command with DATAONLY.
