Error description

• AICA in method XDQA if MAS is shut down while result set is
  being built in CMAS.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:    You may experience intermittent      *
  *                      AICA abends in the CMAS to which your   *
  *                      WUI server connects if a request from   *
  *                      CICS Explorer for CSD resources from    *
  *                      a MAS is pending when the MAS agent is  *
  *                      terminated or the MAS is shut down.     *
  *                      This might occur if an external per-    *
  *                      formance monitor purges transaction     *
  *                      CONL, the MAS agent long-running task.  *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this    *
  *                 APAR, all CMASes must be recycled to pick    *
  *                 up the changed code.  Note that CMASes do    *
  *                 not need to be brought down and restarted    *
  *                 at the same time.                            *
  ****************************************************************
     Because CSD definitional resources can only be requested
  for a scope containing a single MAS, the MAS does not include
  CONTEXT and SCOPE information in the response queue.  Module
  EYU0XDQA (XDQA - Build API Result Set) is provided the CONTEXT
  and SCOPE of the target, and calls module EYU0CPLM (CPLM - Con-
  nection Services MAS Lookup) to identify the CMAS to which the
  MAS connects.  If the MAS agent is stopped or the MAS is shut
  down before the call to CPLM completes, CPLM might return a
  status indicating that the MAS is not active.  A logic error
  caused the call to CPLM to be retried repeatedly with the same
  CONTEXT and SCOPE, until the API task was terminated with abend
  AICA.
  

Problem conclusion

•    Module EYU0XDQA was modified to return an empty result set
  to a request for CSD definitional resources if the status
  returned by the call to CPLM indicates that the MAS is not
  active.
