PM63215: BAS URIMAP RESOURCE DEFINITION DOES NOT ALLOW TO SPECIFY A REDIRECTION LOCATION

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer tried to define an URIMAP in BAS with CPSM-WUI.
  This works fine for all values except the redirection
  location.
  
  When defining a "permanent" redirection and using the location
  "http://129.178.21.49:33070/webservices/PensionsInfo",
  this value is not accepted.
  The CREATE or UPDATE fails with the messages:
  
  EYUVC1231E  'Update' (UPDATE) request failed. Request complete
              for 0 records. (Tableerror, Dataerror)
  EYUVC1272I  Action (UPDATE) failed. Attribute data invalid (1).
  EYUVC1271I  Action (UPDATE) failed due to attribute,
              'URI to which to redirect the inbound HTTP
              request' (LOCATION).
  
  Typing only "http:/129.178....." the create works fine but this
  is not a valid location value.

  * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this    *
  *                 APAR, all CMASes, MASes and SMSS systems     *
  *                 must be recycled to pick up the changed      *
  *                 code.  Note that the restarts do not need to *
  *                 occur at the same time.                      *

  Method BAS9 (EYU0BAS9 - BAS Create/Update URIMPDEF Definition
  Method Receiver) should be using the same edit rules as the CICS
  CEDA Transaction does for the LOCATION attribute.  CICS does not
  check that the URL is valid.
  The LOCATION attribute is valid for USAGE(SERVER), USAGE(ATOM),
  and USAGE(PIPELINE).
  

Problem conclusion

• Program EYU0BAS9 was modified to remove the editing rules for
  the LOCATION attribute. The following additional changes were
  made:
  
  . Added support for the ANALYZER(NO) attribute with
    USAGE(SERVER) and a REDIRECTTYPE of PERMANENT or TEMPORARY
  . Added support for the LOCATION attribute with USAGE(ATOM)
  . Added support for the REDIRECTTYPE attribute with USAGE(ATOM)
