Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICSPlex SM V4R1M0 and V4R2M0 Users * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The CPSM WUI EYUSTARTREQID.TABULAR view * * or the CICS Explorer Interval Control * * Requests Operations view may find a * * number of requests that have the same * * NAME or REQID. The requests accurately * * show the INTERVAL until they expire, * * but they all show the TIME of * * expiration from the first element to * * expire. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this * * APAR, all MASes, including those MASes * * executing as WUI servers, and SMSS systems * * must be recycled to pick up the changed * * code. Note that the restarts do not need to * * occur at the same time. * **************************************************************** Method NQRQ (EYU0NQRQ - Inquire Request Ids) processes requests relating to the information within the REQID object. REQID values should be and normally are unique; however, if there is more than one queued request with the same identifier, INQUIRE REQID returns information about the one that will expire soonest.
Problem conclusion
The INQUIRE REQID TIME command in the IREQ_INQNEXT_GTIME routine of EYU0NQRQ was deleted and replaced by logic to calculate the expiry time as the sum of the EIB time and the INTERVAL time.
